I had been seeing the same dentist for most of my life, but for insurance reasons, I reluctantly had to find a new dentist. I was NOT looking forward to making the switch, but I feel lucky to have found Gaithersburg Family Dental Center -- they made the transition easy for me.

Dr. Forkkio has a great chairside manner. She is friendly and very good at explaining what she is doing in your mouth and why. She is also very open to questions. You can tell that she genuinely cares about her patients. On the flip side, my brother recently got ripped off by his dentist, who charged him tons of money for a dental guard without telling him that his insurance wouldn't cover the cost. That's when I realized how fortunate that I am to be a patient of Gaithersburg Family Dental Center because they would not let something like that happen.

The office itself is very clean and well-kept, and I love that they take appointments on select Saturday mornings. I would recommend Gaithersburg Family Dental Center to anyone in the area seeking a new dentist.
